During this practical and interactive Basic Training in Wine Tasting and Wine Knowledge, you’ll be introduced to the fascinating world behind the glass. Over the course of two evenings, you’ll learn the fundamental principles of wine tasting, both in theory and in practice. Discover the characteristics of the most important grape varieties and wine styles, and learn how to evaluate wine by its color, aroma, and taste.

What to Expect:

• Taste 6 different wines each evening (white, rosé, and red)

• Recognize grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and more

• Insights into winemaking, how to read labels, wine storage, and wine & food pairings

• Plenty of room for personal questions

• A practical information pack to take home

The training is led by Yvonne Koop, vinologist with the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate and a specialization in gastronomy.

This non-certified wine course is perfect for enthusiasts who want to broaden their wine knowledge in an approachable and enjoyable way.
